A Preview of Coming Events in Lieu of Webcasts this Week

Bill Kobren
This being the Thanksgiving holiday week, wanted to let the community know that there are no DAU webcasts scheduled for the current week of November 22-26. However no worries, as we will be hitting the ground running again starting next week with a range of multi-disciplinary webcasts on the agenda. Watch this LOG Blog for additional details early next week.

In the meantime, for longer-term planning our DAU Capital & Northeast Region is in the process of planning a series of virtual Mission Assist Workshops for 2022, including one WSL 008V Supply Chain Management and three WSL 001V Performance Based Logistics Workshops on the books already, and others also being planned:
  • WSL 008V Supply Chain Management (December 7-9, 2021)
  • WSL 001V Performance Based Logistics (February 1-3, 2022)
  • WSL 001V Performance Based Logistics (May 24-26, 2022)
  • WSL 001V Performance Based Logistics (August 9-11, 2022)

Open mission assist workshops bring the power of a DAU workshop without requiring your organization’s entire team to join. By opening our workshops to participants from different organizations, we are able to offer them on a range of powerful topics and bring together opportunities for cross-functional participation and networking. Our DAU WSL 001V PBL workshops, for example, afford attendees the opportunity to:

  • Better understand Performance-Based Logistics principles & policy
  • Consider multiple real-world PBL examples
  • Hear from experts that orchestrate and oversee performance-based contracts
  • Examine PBL lessons learned including from Secretary of Defense-level award winners
  • Apply PBL concepts, policies, and best practices
  • Practice keys to success in implementing successful PBL strategies
