Quick reminder of today’s live DAU Webcast from 12:30-1:30 pm EST entitled “Adaptive Acquisition Framework: Product Support Management”. This ‘not-to-be-missed’ event features the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Product Support, the Acting Deputy Director for Engineering and Director of Engineering Policy and Systems, and the Director of Navy Readiness and Life Cycle Planning, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Materiel Readiness) as they discuss the requirements, expectations, and implications of recently-issued DoD product support policy.

The publication of DoDI 5000.91, "Product Support Management for the Adaptive Acquisition Framework" rounds out the functionally-aligned DoDI 5000-series Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) policy and guidance formerly contained in enclosures to DoDI 5000.02. The new instruction provides the nearly 22,000 Life Cycle Logisticians across DoD with a consolidated resource for product support management policy including general guidance and specific guidance for each of the six AAF pathways. In this webcast, DoD senior leaders wiII share highlights of the new instruction and answer questions from the defense acquisition work force.
