Hosted by DAU and led by Dr. Vic Ramdass, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Materiel Readiness, this latest installment in our ongoing “AM is Here” educational webinar series will help you understand how Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) is being applied today in the Department of Defense. Subject matter experts will share the latest on strategy, policy and current applications of Additive Manufacturing focusing on advances in quality control and reliability. This series will promote how additive manufacturing can be adopted to modernize weapons systems, increase materiel readiness, and enhance warfighter innovation & capability. This quarter’s Maritime & Sea Systems case studies webinar will strive to set the record straight in terms of how far DoD has really come using AM. A series of case studies will cover the proof of confidence from design, testing, production and acceptance for additively manufactured items for maritime and sea systems. Not to mention a multi-disciplinary panel with experts on this important topic from across the department. Encourage you to plan to join us for this exciting, no-cost, virtual event!
