Wanted to pass on the following announcement from our DoD Research and Engineering (R&E) colleagues: “we are excited to share with you the latest issue of the Journal of DoD Research and Engineering (JDR&E). (It features) several review articles, including one on Air Force airworthiness process, and two research articles, including one on millimeter-wave power booster from the Naval Research Laboratory. This peer-reviewed publication fosters and facilitates our collaboration across the S&T Enterprise, including the 17 Communities of Interest.”

They go on to state that “the journal provides a venue for our researchers to receive recognition for their classified and controlled unclassified works and ensures that their works have been peer reviewed. While including some original research, this Special Edition focuses mainly on review articles. Our adversaries grow increasingly capable, and they assert themselves in ways that could undermine our interests and threaten our technological edge. To maintain that edge, our scientists and researchers must work together to develop new and advanced technologies. The JDR&E provides a secure venue for you to publish your work, to facilitate your connection to the larger DoD R&E communities, to promote your collaboration in cross-cutting research areas, and to enable you to share and use the Defense Technical Information Center's repository of linkable scientific and technical information.”

To access the Special Edition December 2018 Volume 1, Issue 3, simply log into the Journal of DoD Research & Engineering (JDR&E) website using your CAC card. For instructions on submitting or becoming a peer reviewer for unclassified articles, visit the JDR&E homepage.
