Success by Improving Organizational Culture

Bill Kobren

Wanted to let the community know about this week’s DAU Webcast which looks to be most interesting. Entitled “Achieve Program Success by Improving Your Organizational Culture!”, the webcast is scheduled for Wednesday April 22, 2020 from 12:30 - 2:00 PM EDT (90 minutes). Overview: The recently completed Section 809 Acquisition Reform Report revealed that a program office's culture was the common thread in successful DOD acquisition programs. Does Culture really matter? How do you know what type of culture you have, and what can you do about it if you're not the leader? More specifically what are the most critical behaviors that will characterize a culture of success? We will use book excerpts, research on organization cultures, and video clips to help attendees better define their present program office culture, the cultures they desire, and steps they can take to get there.

To participate, simply select JOIN THE MEETING; Meeting number (access code): 906 546 036; Meeting password: DW2020. In addition to joining the webcast online, participants also have the opportunity to attend by phone at 510-210-8882. The DAU Webcasts Program Office welcomes comments and questions at [email protected].
