Supportability Analysis Personal Development Opportunities

Following up on yesterday’s DAU LOG Blog post entitled “Foundational Nature of Supportability Analysis in DoD”, today wanted to take a moment to zero in on perhaps the most important learning asset we offer on this important topic, namely our LOG 211V Supportability Analysis virtual instructor-led training (VILT) and (when it becomes available again) our LOG 211 Supportability Analysis instructor-led training (ILT) classroom course.

As long-time members of our functional area are aware, LOG 211/V previously served as one of five Life Cycle Logistics DAWIA Level III pick-list certification requirement options under pre-February 1 certification framework. That is no longer the case under the new Life Cycle Logistics Back-to-Basics certification framework. Have no fear, however, as we are in the process of developing and deploying three new credentials on this and related Design Interface IPS element topics, including:

The good news is the first of these three new supportability analysis-related credentials (CLCL 005) is already available, a second (CLCL 007) is slated to deploy later this month, and the third (CLCL 006) is not far behind that. The better news is registration for these three credentials is not limited to life cycle logisticians, just the the defense acquisition workforce, or even just to DoD personnel; they are available to a wide spectrum of functional areas including interagency and defense industry students.

Even better news is the new CLCL 007 will include LOG 211/V as one of two primary training courses in that new credential. Still better news yet is we have numerous LOG 211V class offerings currently on the schedule, and perhaps the best news of all is there are plenty of seats available for those who are interested in signing up now, allowing workforce members to get a head start on the new CLCL 007 credential. Indeed, we currently have no less than eleven no-tuition cost FY22 LOG 211V Supportability Analysis course offerings currently on the schedule:

  • LOG 211V, Class #309 (02/28/2022 - 03/04/2022)
  • LOG 211V, Class #310 (02/28/2022 - 03/04/2022)
  • LOG 211V, Class #311 (03/07/2022 - 03/11/2022)
  • LOG 211V, Class #312 (03/14/2022 - 03/18/2022)
  • LOG 211V, Class #313 (04/04/2022 - 04/08/2022)
  • LOG 211V, Class #315 (05/16/2022 - 05/20/2022)
  • LOG 211V, Class #301 (05/16/2022 - 05/20/2022)
  • LOG 211V, Class #316 (05/23/2022 - 05/27/2022)
  • LOG 211V, Class #317 (06/06/2022 - 06/10/2022)
  • LOG 211V, Class #318 (07/11/2022 - 07/15/2022)
  • LOG 211V, Class #319 (08/08/2022 - 08/12/2022)

Encourage potential students to register sooner rather than later while seats for this interdisciplinary, no-tuition cost, instructor-led training opportunity are still readily available!
