Allow me to pass on an announcement from our colleagues in the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Materiel Readiness about the upcoming May 5-7, 2020 Commercial Technologies for Maintenance Activities (CTMA) Partner’s Meeting scheduled for Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia:

“Whether you are a logistician, innovator, or academic (or all 3!), the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Material Readiness is inviting you to join us from May 5-7 for the 2020 CTMA Partners Meeting at the Clubs at Quantico (See attached memo). CTMA has long been DOD's Sustainment Innovation Accelerator, bringing DoD, industry, and academia together to develop partnerships and sustainment solutions for DoD and industry. This year's event will bring our communities together to highlight weapon systems sustainment challenges, frame potential solutions, develop partnerships, learn about innovative existing and emerging technologies, and share lessons learned and best practices. The 2020 event will feature engaging perspectives from senior sustainment leaders, interactive maintenance focused technology panels, and opportunities to showcase innovative technology solutions via exhibitors displays. Also, the annual CTMA Technology Competition will award $100K in technology demonstration resources to the winning activity. Be a part of the solution to maintain a lethal, resilient, and rapidly innovating Joint Force!
