Using OKTA to Access DAU Virtual Campus

Had a great question recently from a workforce member who was experiencing issues registering for an online training (OLT) course. As a public service to the community, wanted to pass on information that might be helpful if you or a colleague find yourself facing a similar situation.

If you suspect the issue is related to the new OKTA single sign-in system, would first encourage you to visit our DAU Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) website. Select the icon for OKTA FAQs to see if your questions can be resolved that way. If not, next would select the OKTA Account Setup icon for step-by-step instructions for establishing a new OKTA account that provides you with access to our DAU virtual campus. Once you have established current login credentials, go to our DAU iCatalog, select the training course or continuous learning module button, and choose the course you’re interested in. To register, simply select the "Apply for this Course" button in the top right corner and follow the prompts.

One helpful hint: once your OKTA access is set up, students with DoD CAC Cards are reminded to select their e-mail certificate in order to successfully access to site. Finally, if you have any issues, please contact our DAU Help Desk at: 703-805-3459 or 866-568-6924, then select Option 1.
