Winners of 2021 Secretary of Defense PBL Awards
- Winner of the PBL System Level Award: Stryker Brigade Combat Team, US Army, Detroit Arsenal, MI
- Winner of the PBL Subsystem Level Award: Landing Gear Performance Based Logistics 1 (LGPBL1) Team, US Air Force, Hill AFB UT.
According to the announcement, “…the Secretary of Defense PBL Awards recognize government/industry teams who have demonstrated innovative sustainment solutions. The winning teams provided Warfighters with exceptional support through sustainment transformation using creative approaches that yielded improved lethality….The 2021 PBL Award winners will be recognized at the 2022 Office of the Secretary of Defense Product Support Manager Workshop, followed by formal presentation of the award at their commands.”
Congratulations to all who competed for these prestigious awards, and in particular to the winning Army and Air Force teams. As a reminder for those who may not be aware, the Secretary of Defense System Level PBL Award is named in honor of the late Gerald “Jerry” R. Beck.
