  • AMC-R 350-4 Training and Certification Program for Personnel Working in Ammunition Operations, dated 22 November 2017 This regulation establishes a training and certification program for personnel involved with planning, handling, storage, surveillance, maintenance, production, demil/destruct/treatment and transportation operations of ammunition and explosives (A&E) in accordance with (IAW) DA PAM 385-64 (Ammunition and Explosive Safety Standards) and IAW DA PAM 385-61 (Toxic Chemical Agent Safety Standards) for toxic and chemical agents and munitions. It requires that installations and activities ensure that only trained and certified personnel are permitted to participate in operations involving munitions. This program is designed to increase munitions safety awareness, technical knowledge and operational proficiency of employees. For clarity, within this regulation, A&E refers to all live explosives, components, packaging, dummy/drilled/inert filled and non-standard conventional and toxic chemical munitions, as well as large rockets and guided missiles.
