I have completed all my COR training requirements/courses and and one of them was the CLC 222 COR Online Course which consisted of several modules and slides in each. Is there a way to obtain an electronic copy of all the slides of this training so that I can easily reference back to?
I just became COR on a number of service lines for a LOGCAP administered Base Life Support contract in a contingency environment in the Middle East. The CORs for LOGCAP are provided the Performance Work Statement, Technical Exhibits, and the QASP, and are directed to use a LOGCAP developed "Checklist" - which is very basic - to conduct oversight of the contractor's performance. CORs are not provided a copy of the contract.
I met with the Administrative Contracting Officer for the contract, and I suggested to him that I will require the contract and all the mods to properly perform my duties. He was resistant to my request and the conversation led me to believe that I will not be provided a copy of the base contract, all mods, etc.
All my DAU COR training, the Contingency COR handbook, and the organization I work for all clearly state that I have to be very familiar with the contract and mods (not just the PWS) to allow me to perform adequate oversight of the contractors performance.
I am meeting again tomorrow with the ACO to explain my position again, and to make a more formal verbal request for the base contract and all the mods. I will follow this request up in writing, if need be, following the meeting.
I would like to get the forums opinion here as to whether or not a COR's duties can be adequately performed without the contract and mods. Could I, as COR, be liable under an IG audit for clauses or changes to scope of the contract that I was never aware of?

Has anyone seen a good COR battle rythm? I'm basically looking for a battle rythm that highlights the tasks required of a COR broken down by month. Since most COR's are there as a secondary duty, a good BR should help the community plan ahead and help prevent last minute work efforts.
Looking for feedback from fellow COR who may have insight.
I have been a COR for roughly 3 years with over 35 years of Contracting experience (US Navy NAVSUP). Recently learned the contract's Program Manager from another 4-digit office may be seeking to have me removed as COR for the final Option Year of the contract, and as the follow-on vehicle is being strategized. The reason? Internal conflicts between the 4-digit department I work in and the fact that I have questioned (never disapproved or rejected ... just questioned) proposed Contractor assignments and attempts to broaden some aspects of the PWS. The problem is that the initiaitives being proposed have Flag interest and certain commitments made prior to investigating the appropriateness of new taskings. I have caught wind of actions that may be leading to the PM asking the FLC contracting office to reassign my COR duties under the specific contract. Can anyone shed light on whether CAUSE needs to be cited on a COR Termination Letter? Also, is it even permissable to replace a COR where no apparent performance issue or personal job/employment assignment conflicts with said COR duties?
For those in Army--the frequency of COR Status reports is a default of monthly. Do you have any documentation that states the status reports MUST be monthly?
Was wondering if any units have a COR database for input of inspections, collating reports, MAR's, CPAR's, and so on?

"Anything contained in this email shall not be construed as a change to the contract. Nothing I say or do shall be construed as a change to the contract. Only, the Contracting Officer can make changes to the contract.
Contractors are remineded to promptly notify the Contracting Officer of any conduct that may be regarded as a change to the contract in accordance with FAR 52.243-??, Notification of Changes."
The following policy has been issued by Defense Pricing and Contracting (DPC) for CORs:
The Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 5000.72, DoD Standard for Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) Certification, requires all CORs appointed to a contract obtain Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) training. The training is conducted through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) at
https://wawftraining.eb.mil/wbt/xhtml/wbt/wawf/index.xhtml. Contracting Officers required CORs to upload WAWF completion certificates into the PIEE Joint Appointment Module (JAM) prior to COR appointment.
The PIEE suite of systems recently stopped issuing WAWF training completion certificates to CORs to achieve efficiencies. Therefore, effective immediately, Contracting Officers shall no longer require their COR to upload a WAWF completion certificate into JAM. This change is being incorporated into an upcoming revision to the DoDI 5000.72.

Good day to all of you. My name is Tim Robinson; I was just informed that I need to become a COR for my office. I've been poking around here and have a couple of questions:
1. What are the courses that I need to take to become a Level 1 & 2 COR?
2. Is there an official program to sign up for to become a COR? If not, how does one go about getting certified as Level 1 or 2?
Please share what you are working on as a COR.
