The DoD CPO office recently completed their new strategic plan. This plan, in line with the National Defense Strategy’s (NDS) objectives of sustaining Joint Force military advantage and continuously delivering performance with affordability through NDS lines of effort, strives to reduce the effect of corrosion on sustainment costs while also improving materiel readiness.
The strategic plan has received support from leadership, including the Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army, (Acquisition Policy & Logistics), the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research, Development, Test & Evaluation), and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force Science, Technology and Engineering who have each approved and signed off on this strategic plan.
