Wood Treatment and Preservation Methods

The project will examine the type of wood used on USMC weapon systems and the treatment of wood components during the maintenance process. The project will focus on wood treatment processes that prevent wood degradation and promote Chemical Agent Resistant Coating (CARC) coating adhesion.
