Welcome to the International Acquisition Management Community of Practice (ICoP)!
International Acquisition Management includes Int'l Cooperation, Sales & Transfers, Tech Security/Foreign Disclosure, Defense Exportability, and Int'l Contracting activities. Our ICOP website is designed to provide the IA&E user community – including International Acquisition Career Path (IACP) members; Defense Acquisition Workforce (DAW) members; DoD/USG employees, contractor support personnel, and other visitors -- with 'one stop shop' IA&E resources. For general IA&E information also consider visiting the International Acquisition Management (IAM) Functional Gateway page. Click on either the "Announcements" or "International Acquisition News" menu items on the left hand side of the page to find hotlinks to key items such as the DSMC FOUO/CUI Document Folder on Inteldocs, the DSMC-I Int'l Monthly Activity Report (IMAR), DAU Int'l Acquisition Career Path (IACP) Course info, and hotlinks to public domain IA&E current news sources.
Good morning, all. We are currently starting work under a Project Agreement - the program will involve the sharing of classified data between the two countries, and there is the need to develop both a Project Security Instruction and a Classification Guide.
If anyone has any examples of either of these documents which they could share, that would be greatly appreciated.
DSMC-International conducted an Int'l Acquisition & Exportability (IA&E) Lunch & Learn Webinar on August 7 from 1230 - 1400. This WebEx presentation and discussion focused on recent developments in the DoD IA&E area including: IA&E in the National Security & National Defense Strategies; White House Conventional Arms Transfer Policy implementation activities; White House – Congressional disagreements over U.S. arms exports to the Middle East; the impact of recent NDAAs on USG/DoD Foreign Military Sales (FMS) transactions; and recent DoD JCIDS policy changes on Building Exportability into DoD systems and equipment. A copy of this presentation is available on this Int'l Community of Practice website at URL https://www.dau.edu/cop/iam/DAU%20Sponsored%20Documents/DAU%20DSMC-I%20Lunch%20and%20Learn%20(pdf)%20-%208-9-19%20Final.pdf?Web=1
What could we (the DAU DSMC-I faculty) do to encourage greater interactive participation by IA&E Community members on this website?
