This Office of the UnderSecDef (Intel & Security) Memo provides policy guidance on appropriate use of NOFORN markings on DoD information. Only four categories of information are eligible for use of the NOFORN marking: Intelligence; Naval Nuclear Propulsion; National Disclosure Policy (NDP-1); and, DoD Cover and Cover Support.
