	OPNAVINST 5000.53	Policy Update	OPNAV has recently released the instruction for Navy Accelerated Acquisition for the Rapid Development, Demonstration, and Fielding of Capabilities. Its purpose is to implement the accelerated acquisition policies contained in SECNAVINST 5000.42 in order to deliver mission critical warfighting capabilities more rapidly than traditional acquisition processes. 	DoDI 5000.02, Change 3 Update	Policy Update	DoDI 5000.02, "Operation of the Defense Acquisition System", Change 3, was released August 10th, 2017. The biggest change was removal of Encl 12 (Acquistion of the Defense Business Systems) with a reference to the recently released DoDI 5000.75, "Business Systems Requirements and Acquistion", Feb 2nd, 2017. All the other changes were minor and adminstrative in nature.
