2007 PBL Award Winners Memo

This " 2007 SecDef Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) Awards Selection" memo states "the SecDef PBL Awards recognize government / industry teams that have demonstrated outstanding achievements in providing Warfighters with exceptional operational capability through PBL agreements. The following are the 2007 winners: Svstem Level: FIA-18 Integrated Readiness Support Team - USN Sub-system Level: Improved Target Acquisition System - USA Component Level: GE T700 Aircraft Engine - USN The SecDef PBL Awards recognize government / industry teams that have demonstrated outstanding achievements in providing Warfighters with exceptional operational capability through PBL agreements. To enhance PBL awareness and encourage PBL excellence, the Department instituted the annual PBL Awards Program in 2005. The annual Secretary of Defense PBL Awards recognize successful PBL programs at the system, subsystem, and component level, and also promotes the benefits of implementing effective outcome based product support strategies.
