Public Private Partnering for Strategic Business Collaboration

The goal of this community is to provide an enterprise platform for sharing tools, best business practices, lessons learned, and other relevant info to enhance the cross-collaboration between its members who represent the Military Services, other DoD agencies, the defense industry and academia. Additionally, this CoP provides a centralized repository that, besides providing a ready resource of applicable reference material, also provides access to applicable subject matter experts (SMEs) for assistance with resolving issues related to Public-Private Partnering.

Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) designated as a Center for Industrial Technical Excellence

​Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III issued a memorandum in December 2021 designating DMEA a Center of Industrial Technical Excellence (CITE).  This CITE designation recognizes the important role that DMEA plays in upgrading and sustaining critical warfighting capabilities.  As DoD's leader with core competency in microelectronics, DMEA, as a CITE, has greater utilization of its unique capability to support small runs of DoD-critical microelectronics and semiconductors both inside and outside DoD.  In addition, the CITE designation also allows the use of Public-Private Partnerships which provide excellent opportunities to promote partnering between depots/arsenals and private industry.  For additonal information related to DMEA, visit the following URL:
