Capability Gap

A Capability Gap is an inability to perform a task because of a lack of equipment, training, doctrine, or support. Examples of capability gaps: 1. Being unable to determine enemy presence and intent. 2. Being unable to launch or to task a reconnaissance platform. 3. Being unable to download or apply reconnaissance information.
