- Community Levels for DAU locations are determined by where the Federal workplace sits, not where the employee (or student) lives. If you want to check the Community Level in the county where you live/are travelling to, follow this link: COVID-19 by County | CDC
- If a location's community level reaches "High," all DAU employees, students, and visitors are required to wear a mask while inside a DAU facility.
- The COVID-19 Community Level of each DAU location will be reviewed and updated weekly every Friday.
- DAU employees, if you have questions please contact your Business Unit HR liaison.
- DAU students, if you have questions please reach out to your instructor.
- Individuals may choose to wear a mask regardless of the COVID-19 Community Level.

DoD and DAU's first priority is the protection of our people. To help our students and employees navigate the geographic variations required by our response to the COVID-19 virus, we've pulled together the following information based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). As part of this guidance, DAU is using the new CDC defined COVID-19 Community Levels. This new classification system helps communities decide what prevention steps to take based on the latest data. Levels can be low, medium, or high and are determined by looking at hospital beds being used, hospital admissions, and the total number of new COVID-19 cases in an area. If a location's community level reaches "High," all DAU employees, students, and visitors are required to wear a mask while inside a DAU facility.
