This Online Training (OLT) course IS NOT A REPLACEMENT OF CLM 003/ACQ 0030, Overview of Acquisition Ethics.


ACQ 0040 provides alternate ethics training for the DoD acquisition workforce as needed. ACQ 0040 is much shorter than CLM003. ACQ 0040 is about an hour long and focuses training in areas of conflicts of interest, gifts, procurement sensitive and other non-public information, seeking employment and post-Government employment restrictions, and other topics relevant to ethical decision-making. Members of the acquisition workforce may use ACQ 0040 as a substitute for their agency’s ethics training if approved by their agency.

PREDECESSOR COURSES

TARGET AUDIENCE

Acquisition workforce members from any DoD field background. Every Acquisition workforce member is expected to uphold certain ethical standards of performance in their field.

NOTES

  • Due to DoD Policy requirements, there is no "test-through" option for this course.
  • Any exams in this course must be passed with a minimum score of 80%.
  • There is no time limit for completing this course.
  • After completing the course, please be sure to complete the survey at the end.
  • The CLPs assigned to this learning activity may be used to meet professional certification and/or licensure requirements (PDUs/CPE credits).
