Introduction to DCMA Contract Administration

This is an Online Training (OLT) course. At a high level CMC 1000 walks the learner through Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) delegated contract administration functions, workload acceptance, contract receipt and review, surveillance, small business considerations, acceptance of products and services, payment, packaging and transportation management, contractor business systems, forward pricing rates, Cost Accounting Standards, Contract Audit Follow-Up, funds management, negotiation intelligence, terminations, final indirect cost rates, contract closeout, and provides an overview of DCMA and some of the special support the agency offers. While designed primarily for the DCMA contracting workforce, non-DCMA contracting personnel will find the course informative as well.

PREDECESSOR COURSES

TARGET AUDIENCE

DCMA Contract Administration Workforce. Other contract administrators who are new to contract administration may take the course as well; however, this course is DCMA specific. Our target learners may hold other Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certifications, but they are new to DCMA.

NOTES

  • Any exams in this course must be passed with a minimum score of 80%.
  • There is no time limit for completing this course.
  • After completing the course, please be sure to complete the survey at the end.
  • The CLPs assigned to this learning activity may be used to meet professional certification and/or licensure requirements (PDUs/CPE credits).
