Cost Monitoring

This course is being piloted for direct registration via DAU Virtual Campus (CSOD). Click on "Apply for this training" button on the upper right-hand corner to register for an offering.

This Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) course provides students with concepts and tools in Cost Monitoring, enabling them to successfully fulfill their day-to-day tasks and duties within Cost Monitoring responsibilities ensuring the government is paying fair and reasonable prices for supplier’s products/services.

REQUIRED PREREQUISITES

Required:
  • CMC 130 Introduction to Indirect Cost Rates

PREDECESSOR COURSES

TARGET AUDIENCE

DCMA Contracting and Technical Personnel performing Cost Monitoring Functions at the Journeyman level.

NOTES

Restriction:
  • This course is restricted to DoD government civilian and military students only. DCMA students have priority in this course. Non-DCMA students may be placed in a registered status if there are seats available or added to waitlist if there are no available seats.
Additional Information:
  • Virtual classes are conducted via MS Teams.
  • All times are in the local time zone of the DAU region assigned to teach the offering.
  • Students are required to test connectivity with DAU IT prior to the class start date.
  • DAU does not reimburse student phone/internet charges.
  • The CLPs assigned to this learning activity may be used to meet professional certification and/or licensure requirements (PDUs/CPE credits).
