Data Collection and Analysis Application

This course is being piloted for direct registration via DAU Virtual Campus (CSOD). Click on "Apply for this training" button in the upper right-hand corner to register for an offering.

The Data Collection and Analysis Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) course provides an opportunity for the student to gain an understanding of the importance of Data Collection and Analysis, the types of data to collect, and how to analyze data. This will enable the Quality Assurance Specialist to use the results of analysis in performing risk-based surveillance. The student also has an opportunity to practice data analysis in an effort to strengthen their analytical skills and garner their confidence in formulating opinions. This course will provide an opportunity for Government QA personnel to build upon prior instruction and gain hands-on experience with data collection, analysis, collation, and dissemination. Students should be aware that CMQ231 was developed for DCMA and uses DCMA document templates. Class instruction concentrates upon FAR, DFARS or common principles which apply across all services.
