***This is an in-person classroom (CLRM) Instructor Led Training course. DAU Centralized Travel Funds are NOT authorized. If TDY will be required to attend this course, your organization must fund your TDY. Please contact your organization/agency training office for unit travel funds/Line of Accounting (LOA). DAU and the Component Acquisition Training Offices do not have the authority to provide travel funds/LOA.***

IT IS FREE TO ALL REGISTRANTS AND PROVIDES THE SAME COURSE CERTIFICATION AS THE COURSE FOR ORGANIZATIONS DESCRIBED ABOVE.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is specifically designed for Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs) who are responsible for assuring that contractors perform in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. COR 222 will provide CORs the breadth of knowledge required to perform their role, including knowledge related to COR roles and responsibilities, as well as fundamentals of contracting regulations, types, phases, and other elements; awareness of ethical and legal factors that impact COR responsibilities; and information necessary to effectively evaluate situations, apply knowledge gained, and make correct decisions to carry out COR responsibilities.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This CLRM course is designed for anyone currently serving as or training to become a Contracting Officer's Representative for Type B and C requirements.

Additional Information:
  • DAU charges a standard fee for the “off-the-shelf” delivery of the selected course plus instructor(s) travel and per diem as may be required to support the request. Organizations desiring modifications to the “off-the-shelf” design may incur additional fees.
  • Organizations who want to pair this course with "Contracting Officer’s Representative in a Contingency Environment" need to also request COR 206.

  • The CLPs referenced above presume off-the-shelf delivery and may be used to meet professional certification and/or licensure requirements (PDUs/CPE credits).
  • Any exams in this course must be passed with a minimum score of 80%.
