During this Online Training (OLT) micro-course, the video hosted at the link provided will provide you with information to assist you to:

  • Describe what is Configuration as Code (CaC)
  • Determine why CaC reduces the possibility of human error and produces faster deployments
  • Understand how CaC automates Configuration Management (CM).

Configuration as Code (CaC) is needed to support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Framework.





Members of the Engineering and Technical Management Functional Area who are engaged in software development.


  • Any exams in this course must be passed with a minimum score of 80%.
  • There is no time limit for completing this course.
  • After completing the course, please be sure to complete the survey at the end.
  • Since this course is less than 30 minutes, no CLPs are assigned. To receive CLP credit, students should bundle the completion of this and similar courses together and apply to their supervisor for CLP approval.
