TARGET AUDIENCE
Cost estimators who are practitioners or experienced cost estimators, but new to the concept of software cost estimation. Ideally the learner is an analyst with experience with cost estimation and a DAU cost estimation certification (or equivalent). The learner will often have to communicate with managers and others without a detailed understanding of cost estimation, software, or both. Cost estimators with backgrounds as varied as engineering, statistics, and financial management will be able to use the knowledge from this class to become more proficient with understanding software systems.Additional Credential Information

- This credential requires the completion of a Virtual Instructor-Led Course (VILT): BCE 2300V. Priority for VILT courses goes to members of the Defense Acquisition Workforce. All others may find it difficult to complete this requirement if it has not already been completed at the time of enrollment in the credential.
