Military Construction for Financial Managers Credential

The Military Construction (MILCON) for Financial Management credential is a cross-functional, general-purpose credential on the tenets and principles of MILCON and Financial Management. The participants will be given the standards, laws and principles for MILCON with respect to Appropriations, Fiscal Law, and other important aspects. The assumption is that learners can have little experience or vast experience in any acquisition functional area.

The estimated time to complete this credential is 35 hours. Upon completion, an additional 10% incentive points will be added for a total of 39 Continuous Learning Points (CLPs).

NOTES

Additional Information:

  • Predecessor courses may not be used to complete credential requirements.
  • This credential requires the completion of a Virtual Instructor-Led Course (VILT): BFM 2710V. Priority for VILT courses goes to members of the Defense Acquisition Workforce. All others may find it difficult to complete this requirement if it has not already been completed at the time of enrollment in the credential.
  • All students must have a DAUID.
