This credential equips Defense acquisition, product support and sustainment personnel with essential skills for information technology (IT) systems continuous support. You'll increase your knowledge of resource allocation, lifecycle management, cybersecurity principles, Agile software acquisition, supply chain risk management, IT service management policies, software assurance and more. In addition, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of pre-award contracting, post-award contract management in Agile environments and cultural factors influencing Agile adoption. You’ll also become well versed in aspects of supply chain risk management (SCRM) for information and communication technology, relevant IT service management policies and the significance of Software Assurance (SwA) in DoD programs. Through this credential, you’ll gain insight into the complexities and challenges of DoD software life cycle management, facilitating informed decision-making and effective IT acquisitions aligned with national Defense priorities.
