    Laurence (Larry) Langan

    Laurence (Larry) Langan works for Envision – Innovative Solutions, supporting the US Army Combat Development Command (DEVCOM), C5ISR Center, Engineering and Systems Integration Directorate at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. 

    Mr. Langan is a retired Army employee and has held managerial positions in both Engineering and Logistics organizations.  His functional areas of responsibility included Production Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Reliability Engineering and Product Support. With regard to product support, Mr. Langan was responsible for establishing the product support structure and managing the National Inventory Control Point (NICP) and National Maintenance Point (NMP) for various assigned weapon systems.   
     

    In his current position, Mr. Langan supports the Team C5ISR DMSMS Management Working Group, primarily in the areas of DMSMS contract language, Parts Management and Counterfeit Risk Management.  Mr. Langan has also actively supported the OSD DMSMS and Parts Management Working Groups.  In this regard, Mr. Langan has supported the following OSD Working Groups (WG) and Teams: the DMSMS Contract Language WG, the DMSMS Readiness Metrics WG, the Software DMSMS WG, the Parts Management Contract Language Team, Parts the Management COTS Assembly WG and PMWG Excess Inventory Strategic Initiative Team.
