Abe Brown is the President of the Federal Executive Institute Alumni Association (FEIAA), a network of federal executives who have graduated from the Federal Executive Institute's training programs for senior-level federal leaders.
Brown has spent (10) years in the federal sector, and is currently the Director, Division of Partnership Investments and Agreements, Office of Partnerships, Office of Regulatory Affairs at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration where he provides overall counsel, leadership and managerial direction. He plans, develops and oversees over $100 million in contracts, grants, cooperative agreement programs and partnership agreements to provide resources to state governments, public health laboratories, municipalities and associations.
Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense & Principal Director, Industrial Policy
Mr. Baum currently serves as the Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense and Principal Director for Industrial Policy. In this role he is responsible for analyzing the capabilities, overall health, and policies concerning the industrial base on which the Department relies for current and future warfighting capabilities. Industrial Policy is also responsible for developing the Department’s position on the business combinations and transactions, both foreign and domestic, that shape and affect national security.
