Rost will discuss the basics of pricing variable quantities, including why we price variable quantities and the inputs that are needed to develop a successful request for proposal and construct a pricing scenario that creates flexibility while balancing the cost risk for both parties. Rost will lead an in-depth discussion of various methods for pricing variable quantities and provide analytical tools that contracting officers can utilize to drive outcomes that are equitable to both the government and the contractor.
