Three years ago, the Department of Defense transitioned from Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness to Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation. Findings are being used from audits of DoD consolidated financial statements to identify opportunities to improve visibility of Government assets, which includes Government-furnished property.
