    During this 3-Part Webinar series we will be going through Acquisition Review process through the lenses of 6 P's (Premise, Partnerships, Policies, Perspective, Process, and Practice). This session will cover:
    Premise: It takes time to create and review acquisition documentation.  Our goal is to support the acquisition document pre-review processes to identify common disconnects we see across the portfolios and systems we review.


    Partnerships:  We will explore the different organizations and documentation that the Cost and Economics Branch supports.
    Policies:  The instructions, regulations, guides and memorandums that we're using to support our observations.

    Renee DeBiase

    CECOM Cost and Economics Branch Chief

    A. Renee DeBiase holds certifications in Business-Cost Estimating (BUS-CE), Program Management, and DoD Financial Management. Renee is a career Operations Research Analyst whose concentration has been in acquisition cost estimating.  The majority of her civilian career was spent on an ACAT I program.  She spent three years as systems engineering and technical assistance (SETA) support before returning to civil service in 2021. Renee is currently the Cost and Economics Branch (CEB) chief in the Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) G8.

    Krista Scanlon

    CECOM Cost and Economics Branch Acquisition Validation Team Lead

    Krista Scanlon is a lead operations research analyst in the Cost and Economics Branch of the Army’s Communication Electronics Command (CECOM). She started federal employment in 2018 as an intern focusing on acquisition document analysis and has continued with this focus throughout her federal career.  Ms. Scanlon believes that early collaboration between sustainment organizations and the program management offices are key to a successful program sustainment. Ms. Scanlon has a Bachelor’s of Science in Physics from Salisbury University. She enjoys spending time with her husband and toddler as well as indulging in a variety of hobbies from reading to cross stitching to video games.
