    A series of six interviews of senior acquisition leaders. Each leader will reflect upon acquisition best practices. Partnering and collaborating with the Defense Acquisition Workforce and the DAU faculty about acquisition best practices as it coincides with DAU improving acquisition outcomes.

    Colonel Timothy D. Bailey, USAF, F-16 System Program Manager / Chief Falcon Division, Hill AFB, Utah

    Colonel Tim Bailey is the F-16 System Program Manager and Chief of the Falcon Division, located at Hill AFB, Utah and Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The division is responsible for total life cycle management of approximately 3000 F-16 aircraft of the United States and over two dozen international partners.

    Colonel Bailey was commissioned through Air Force ROTC in 1993 at Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama. He has served in a variety of engineering, acquisition and logistics-oriented roles.

    Prior to his current assignment, Colonel Bailey was the F-15 System Program Manager at Robins AFB, GA.
