Mr. Unger is currently an Acquisition Program Management Professor and former Department Chair for Defense Acquisition University – South Region. Mr. Unger began his Army career in 1981 after being commissioned from Ripon College as a Field Artilleryman and Distinguish Military Graduate. Mr. Unger spent the next twenty years in operational and acquisition related assignments which included working with International/Coalition partners on various weapon systems and user training. Upon retiring from the military in 2001 Mr. Unger accepted a position with Computer Sciences Corporation as a Senior Program Analyst. This led to Mr. Unger joining the Defense Acquisition University Staff in 2002 teaching Program Management, Test & Evaluation and International courses for the University. He holds a Bachelor in History from Ripon College, a Master of Science in Management from Florida Institute for Technology, and is a 2013 graduate of the Army’s Senior Service College Fellowship. Mr. Unger is married and has one son who is a United States Coast Guard Aviator, flying HC 144s.Moderator:
