Enterprise Business Systems Design is a process that determines and translates requirements into architectures and engineering plans for applications, modules, system processes, transactions, interfaces, workflow, data and other constructs that will guide the configuration and development of a business information technology solution to achieve strategic benefits and economic returns for the business.

    Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary of the Air Force

    Al Baharmast is Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary of the Air Force. In this capacity, he provides counsel and recommendations to the Under Secretary on matters relating to enterprise business systems modernization, ERP, CRM and BPM systems implementations, business process transformation, process performance management, and enterprise architecture management.  Dr. Baharmast has 32+ years of business systems implementation and operations transformation experience.  In that time, Al Baharmast has served in a variety of roles including PM, director of projects, functional lead and enterprise architect on projects implementing Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, and Siebel solutions. In the course of these projects, he has delivered a broad scope of functional capabilities including financials, logistics, contracting, human resources management, and customer relationship management for clients across the private, non-profit, public and defense sectors.  Dr. Baharmast has been a founder and principal consultant with multiple consulting firms. He is an adjunct professor of operations management, project management, new product development, supply chain management, and business systems, having spent 16 years with George Mason University’s Costello College of Business (Information Systems and Operations Management – ISOM).  Al Baharmast holds a doctorate in Organizational Informatics with a research focus on the technologies and economics of supply chain collaboration.
