    Join us for a discussion on best practices developing and reviewing Acquisition Strategy where we will guide you through the intricacies of acquisition planning, execution, and integration. During this webinar you will learn about acquisition planning, key things to consider when developing an acquisition strategy, and some successful practices developing acquisition strategy.

    What We Teach Executives Series: 
    This series shares with the Defense Acquisition Workforce, Industry, and Academia the knowledge and upskilling that DAU faculty provides DoD executives (General Officers, Flag Officers, Senior Executives Service Cadre) when they attend the Defense Executive Acquisition Overview Workshops (DAEOW). Each discussion is led by a senior subject matter expert (SME) faculty-member that provides DoD Executive Training.

    Mr. Marshall joined the Defense Acquisition University faculty after serving 38 years in civil service with the Air Force and working in the defense industry. He currently serves as Course Manager for EXE 4000 and Professor of Executive Program Management faculty. Prior to joining DAU, he worked in industry as a Program Management Instructor at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) and Program Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) for C-130J, HC-130J & KC-130J aircraft variants. Mr. Marshall spent his entire career as an acquisition professional in program management, aircraft systems engineering, and training systems engineering. He retired as Deputy Program Executive Officer (DPEO) from Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Special Operation Forces (ISR SOF) Directorate Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH in 2017. Prior to that he was the Senior Material Leader (SML) for SOF and Personnel Recovery (PR) Division at Robins Air Force Base, GA. Mr. Marshall was the Interim DPEO for KC- 46 Program at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. He has managed and provided program management oversight to multiple ACAT I, II, III and SCAT programs. Mr. Marshall has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Tennessee State University, a master's degree in general administration from Central Michigan University and a master’s degree in national resource strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces (ICAF), Eisenhower School. He has Defense Acquisition Workforce Level III certifications in Program Management and Systems Engineering. He is a graduate of the Defense Systems Management College (DSMC).
