Provides an introduction to the Defense Production Act Title I ( Priorities and Allocations), and the Defense Priorities & Allocations System (DPAS). The briefing describes how DoD helps ensure the timely availability of industrial resources to meet national defense and emergency preparedness requirements.

Gianna Figueiredo-Maddox, Defense Production Act (DPA) Title I Lead
Figueiredo-Maddox is the Defense Production Act (DPA) Lead for the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for Industrial Policy . She provide expert knowledge of the DPA Title to Department of Defense (DoD) leadership.Figueiredo-Maddox has been instrumental in applying the DPA Tittle I authorities throughout the DoD. These authorities can be used across the federal government to shape the domestic industrial base so that, when called upon, it is capable of providing the essential materials and goods needed for the national defense.Katherine Perroots, Defense Production Act (DPA) Title I Contractor Support.
Ms. Katherine Perroots provides contract support to the DPA Title I Lead for the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for Industrial Policy. She provides support to assist in applying the DPA Tittle I authorities throughout the DoD. Support includes administering the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS), providing Special Priorities Assistance, and reviewing Security of Supply Arrangements, among others.
Mr. Phil Dupont, Defense Production Act (DPA) Title I Contractor Support.
Phil Dupont is the Program Manager for contractor support to the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for Industrial Policy, to include direct support as an analyst for Defense Production Act (DPA) Title I. The contract team also provides support to DPA Title III, Industrial Base Assessments, Congressional Affairs, and Engagement with Industry and International Partners. Mr. Dupont is a retired Army Aviation Officer and Foreign Area Officer.
