    Lolita Horne co-leads DAU's Innovate to Win initiative which inspires and empowers the workforce to deepen their innovation skills and improve innovation readiness to address global opportunities, vulnerabilities, and threats. Over the last 20 years, Mrs. Horne has worked across industry, nonprofits, and now government where she is a proven Learning Systems Program Manager, dedicated DEI&A Counsel member, and innovation leader driving transformation, modernization, diversity, and excellence within government initiatives.  

    Mrs. Horne is a PMP and holds a master’s in information technology from Johns Hopkins University.

    Paul Schneider, Industry

    Paul Schneider, the senior vice president of business development for dominKnow, has worked in the area of distance communication technologies in academia and corporate for over 25 years. Paul’s experience includes managing teams and providing direct services in the areas of training, instructional design and development, professional services, and product design and management for organizations delivering learning, training, and knowledge content. He currently oversees operations and business development at dominKnow. Paul holds a PhD in counseling psychology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

    Dr. Nicole Chelonis is an accomplished IT Program Manager at DAU. With a strong background in information technology and project management, Dr. Chelonis has made significant contributions to the field through her work in the Information Technology Directorate department. Her expertise extends to various aspects of IT and learning technologies, as evidenced by her involvement in projects such as the Enterprise Scheduling Management System (ESMS) and the development of print files for compliance purposes.

    In addition to her technical skills, Dr. Chelonis is known for her dedication to transparency and compliance. She has provided valuable guidance on citing references when generative AI is used in learning assets, ensuring that the design process remains transparent and compliant with DAU Directives. Dr. Chelonis holds a PhD and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Her commitment to excellence and her ability to manage complex projects make her a valuable asset to the DAU team.

    Brian Evergreen is the author of Autonomous Transformation: Creating a More Human Future in the Era of AI, named a Next Big Idea Club “Must-Read” and one of the Thinkers50 Top 10 Best New Management Books for 2024. He is best known for his work advising some of the world’s most valuable companies on positioning their organizations for the future in the era of AI. Brian’s insights draw from his personal experience at leading companies, including Accenture, AWS, and Microsoft. When he’s not giving keynotes or advising companies on AI, Brian guest lectures at the Kellogg School of Management, sharing the unconventional and innovative methods and frameworks he's developed, which have supported over $20B of investment.
    Brian is the founder of The Future Solving Company, where he researches the future of management and innovation, especially as they relate to strategy and technology, and is an advisor to over a dozen Fortune 500 companies. His work has been featured on Bloomberg, CIO, VentureBeat, the Next Big Idea Club, and Thinkers50.
