This webcast offers you tools and techniques that can be used to increase your ability to diffuse tension and conflict on work teams and in your personal life. You will develop a deeper understanding of conflict, how to deal with it, and its importance in working effectively through tension in various situations.

The Leading Acquisition Series:
Developed by the DAU Leadership Learning Center, this series, typically on the first Wednesday of each month, will help you grow as an acquisition leader. Building team success; working effectively through others; or spanning team, functional, and organizational boundaries—all will be covered. DAU's faculty will share the latest thinking on what it means to lead, with practical defense acquisition examples and suggestions on how to apply what you learn at work. Time in each session will be set aside to answer your questions.

Dr. Thomas Bagwell
Dr. Tom Bagwell is a professor of program management in the Midwest region, adjunct professor at Oakland University and Central Michigan University in the state of Michigan, and a certified executive coach. He is an experienced acquisition leader with almost 40 years of experience as a project engineer, associate director, systems of systems integration director, Deputy Program Executive Officer, and former member of the Army's Senior Executive Service (SES). His current focus is on developing the next generation of acquisition professionals and leaders through teaching, coaching, consulting, and mentoring, with a goal of positively impacting acquisition programs and outcomes.
