    Event Description: 

    The research on how diversity drives innovation is well documented. Join this episode of Innovate to Win moderated by Lolita Horne to learn why diversity, equity, inclusion, and allyship are important in innovation and national security and engage with our speakers to learn how the US Air Force, the US Navy, and the Intelligence Community embrace diversity to foster and scale innovation.

                       Lolita Horne

    Lolita Horne co-leads DAU's Innovate to Win initiative which inspires and empowers the workforce to deepen their innovation skills and improve innovation readiness to address global opportunities, vulnerabilities, and threats. Over the last 20 years, Mrs. Horne has worked across industry, nonprofits, and now government where she is a proven Learning Systems Program Manager, dedicated DEI&A Counsel member, and innovation leader driving transformation, modernization, diversity, and excellence within government initiatives. Mrs. Horne is a PMP and holds a Master's in Information Technology from Johns Hopkins University.

                    Chandra Osann 
    A graphic designer by trade, Chandra Osann began her career creating graphics for the private sector before making the transition to supporting analytic teams at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the Defense Intelligence Agency. Since 2011, she has led and managed a variety of teams at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence focused on visual analysis, data science, and innovation with the goal of using her unique perspective to build and promote a more user-centered organization.


          Magdeline (Maggie) P. Laws 

    Maggie is the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer for Headquarters Air Education and Training Command. She is responsible for developing and executing policies, programs, and procedures to implement the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility efforts within Air Education and Training Command. Ms. Laws has served the Department of the Air Force since 2011. In her 12-year career, she has held positions in Community Support, Diversity and Inclusion, Family Readiness, Resilience, Suicide Prevention, and Violence Prevention at the installation, Major Command, and Headquarters Operations level.
