    Mr. Matt Tarasenko

Performance Based Logistics Branch Chief, U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM)

Mr. Matt Tarasenko is the TACOM ILSC Performance Based Logistics Branch Chief. Mr Tarasenko has over 20 years of experience supporting Bradley, M777, Abrams, and Stryker Weapon Systems.  He started off working supply chain management for the Bradley program which led to becoming a lead for the performanced based contract for the transmission, called THOR.  After Bradely, he spent 15 years working the Stryker program performing roles such as ILS Manager, GFM manager, CLS COR, PBL COR, and Sustainment Group Branch Chief.  He was the lead for the Stryker program’s transition from a CLS contract to a PBL contract as the program went from an interim system to an enduring weapon system.  He led efforts to write the scope of work for both contracts while forming relationships to ensure program success.  The Stryker program is now the largest PBL in the Army by scope and dollar value, and it has won the system level DoD PBL award the last 2 years (2021 & 2022).  In 2023, Mr Tarasenko took on additional roles to support other TACOM performance based contract such as the M777 Towed Howitzer and the Abrams TIGER engine.  He is now the lead for both of those contracts and beginning efforts to make both more effective in meeting the Army’s requirements.
