    Date: May 9, 2024

    Time: 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. ET (10:00 - 11:00 a.m. PT)

    CLPs:  1.0

    Moderator: Lt Col Peter Schmick

    Speaker: Mr. Kenneth Cureton

Who Should Attend: Government, Military, and Industry at all levels who want to learn and apply the tenets and principles of Modular Open Systems Approach to promote change and collaboration within DoD programs and projects.

    Description:

Resilience engineering focuses on understanding how complex adaptive systems cope when encountering a surprise condition. Resilience engineering of large, monolithic systems has been accomplished for many years.  But what about resilience engineering of Modular and Open System Architectures (MOSA)?

Come join us to hear about the objectives of avoiding, withstanding, and recovering from adversities encountered during the life cycle of a typical MOSA program, as well as representative architecture, design, and operational techniques to achieve those resilience objectives.  In addition to learning about the resilience engineering of MOSA programs, we will also discuss the organizational resilience necessary to support the programs over their life cycles.
