Ms. Rhonda Maus has been at the forefront of Agile methodologies since 2006, championing the principles of collaboration, adaptability, and rapid delivery in complex project environments. With a 30-year background in IT, software engineering, data center management, and technical program management, Rhonda earned her first Agile certification in 2009. This milestone began her dedicated career in enhancing organizational efficiency and team dynamics. Rhonda's rich experience includes ten years in Silicon Valley and 15 years on Wall Street, where she became Thomas Reuters' inaugural Chief Agilist. Her expertise spans across Technology, Fintech, and Defense industries. A staunch advocate for lean thinking and effective adoption of emerging technologies, Rhonda is a frequent speaker at defense events and podcasts, and she actively develops Agile and AI content for the Defense workforce.
Currently, she holds a senior position within the Department of Defense as an Agile Coach and leads Artificial Intelligence research for DAU.
Mr. Mike McEnery is a subject matter expert in software engineering, Agile acquisition, and DevSecOps, with over 20 years of applied Agile experience. Many of the products he developed in the DoD were created using Agile practices. He currently serves as an Agile coach for various programs across DoD. Mike joined DAU after a 33-year career as a Department of Defense (DoD) contractor, where he worked as a Software Engineer/Developer and Program Manager in various domains, such as Modeling and Simulations, Mission Planning Applications, and Weapons System Development. He currently serves as a Professor of Systems Engineering and the Engineering and Technology Department Chair for the South Region at DAU. He is also the Course Manager of ACQ1700, Agile Acquisition for the DoD Team Member, which introduces the principles and practices of Agile methodologies in the DoD context.
