Description: In today's dynamic environment, organizational agility is critical for success. Scrum and other Agile methodologies are considered to be the realm of software development by many, with little to no applicability to other areas. However, that is far from the truth. Learn about how an acquisitions office incorporated Scrum and lean portfolio management into their daily operations, drastically improving productivity and easing transition from an upstart vision to a sustained program executing $40 million in RDT&E funding.

Master Sergeant Bunn is the Program Manager for the 509th Maintenance Group Research & Engineering section at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. He oversees the accelerated acquisitions of capabilities, chiefly for the B-2 weapons platform and identifies barriers to success, implementing plans and processes to formalize and improve project execution.
Sergeant Bunn enlisted in the Air Force in 2008, serving in a mix of stateside and overseas assignments, including two tours in eastern Afghanistan in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Resolute Support. He has progressed from drafting and surveying support to construction inspection and management, to project and program management, earning a Project Management Professional certification in 2019, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner certification in 2021, Registered Scrum Master certification in 2022, and both Professional Engineer and Program Management Professional certifications in 2023.
