Software factories/ approaches give programmers the tools to iteratively build, test, and deploy code and applications every day. The concept is being used throughout the Department of Defense.The Naval approach, RAISE 2.0, provides a process for which a DevSecOps Platform (DSOP) can achieve a Rapid Assess and Incorporate Software Engineering (RAISE) Platform of Choice (RPOC) status, and the process for which an application owner can leverage a DSOP with an RPOC status to host their containerized applications without the need for them to have their own RMF record/ATO. The process for which a DSOP must conduct ongoing reviews with AO to ensure a cyber-readiness posture for their overall platformCome join Mr. Edmond Kuqo, as he discusses how the NAVAL approach for delivering residual low risk software applications via a Certified Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipeline to accelerate delivery of new and expanded capabilities, increase the frequency of software updates, patches and deployment, and improve their security profiles.Speaker: Mr. Edmond Kuqo
Speaker Bio:Edmond Kuqo currently serves as the DevSecOps Lead Engineer for Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic and as a N2N6 liaison.
