Series Description:
DCMA has partnered with DAU to engage in outreach with the buying commands and provide information on various DCMA capabilities. DAU will host DCMA the Second Tuesday of each month, from 1300-1500 Eastern, to present a webinar series on Leveraging DCMA Capabilities. During this series, DCMA speakers will present different topics as well as any tools or job aids associated with those topics.

Mr. Peter Lavallee is DCMA PDREP Program Lead and is assigned to DCMA's Technical Directorate Engineering and Manufacturing Division. Mr. Lavallee has supported DCMA as an engineer for over 10 years in the field of engineering surveillance, technical pricing support, risk management, and configuration change management. Additionally, he supports multi-functional activities on numerous capabilities within DCMA policy, tool, and training development. Mr. Lavallee holds numerous industry certifications, is a Certified Quality Engineer, and member of the Defense Acquisition Corps.
Derenda Joiner is Lead Industrial Specialist for DCMA Dayton’s Engineering and Manufacturing Division. Derenda has supported DCMA as a Procurement Technician, Industrial Specialist and Lead Is for over 20 years in the field of manufacturing surveillance, supplier risk management, and technical analysis for informal and formal Pre-Award Surveys / Capability Surveys. In conjunction to the previously stated background, Derenda also contributes to multi-functional activities on numerous capabilities within DCMA that support policy, tool, and training development. Derenda holds numerous industry certifications as a Certified Industrial Specialist, Certified Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Green Belt and is a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps
Ms. Regina Schauer is the Subject Matter Expert for Agency Manufacturing Training and is assigned to DCMA's Technical Directorate Enterprise Competency Planning Division. Regina has supported DCMA as an industrial specialist for over 20 years in the field of manufacturing and delivery surveillance. Within the scope of that field Regina managed workload that included: pre-award surveys, contract receipt and review, system and contract integrity screening, risk-based surveillance planning, execution and documentation, data collection and analysis, system and process reviews, pricing support, supply chain surveillance, and contract closeout. Additionally, she supports multi-functional activities on numerous capabilities within DCMA supporting policy, tool, and training development. Regina holds multiple degrees (University of Arizona) and certifications (DAWIA, William and Mary).
Samantha Alger is an Industrial Specialist at DCMA Southeast that has assisted the DSM team with testing, participating in DSM Overview sessions and creating workarounds and quick references for the PIEE DSM Application. She joined the PIEE DSM team in February 2023 and has been providing insight to acclimate CMO users on PIEE DSM. Samantha has also initiated suggestions for improvements throughout the process. Samantha has participated in various sub-group DSM sessions to assist users with registering and familiarization on the new application from multiple procuring locations. Samantha has also assisted in the creation of supplemental training guides for DCMA team members use as they transition to the new PIEE DSM Application.
