Series Description:
DCMA has partnered with DAU to engage in outreach with the buying commands and provide information on various DCMA capabilities. DAU will host DCMA the Second Tuesday of each month, from 1300-1500 Eastern, to present a webinar series on Leveraging DCMA Capabilities. During this series, DCMA speakers will present different topics as well as any tools or job aids associated with those topics.

Speakers:
Ms. Kelli Zagata - Director, DCMA Subcontract and Small Business Compliance Center
As Director, DCMA Subcontract and Small Business Compliance Center, Ms. Zagata serves as the principal advisor to the Director, DCMA in Agency small business matters. The Center's mission is focused on the oversight of prime contractor subcontracting programs to ensure contractor compliance with procurement regulations via the review of contractor purchasing systems and small business subcontracting plans, execution of DoD Comprehensive Subcontracting Plan and Mentor Protégé programs, and the monitoring of prime contractor small business goal attainment. Ms. Zagata's experience includes 18 years of combined government and industry roles in technical and leadership positions. Ms. Zagata holds an MBA in Acquisition and Contract Management, is Contracting & Engineering and Technical Management certified, is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and holds an NCMA Certified Professional Contract Management (CPCM) certification.
Dr. Sonny Hatcher - Assistant Director, Defense Contract Management Agency, Small Business Compliance Group
As Assistant Director for the Defense Contract Management Agency, Small Business Compliance Group, Dr. Sonny D. Hatcher focuses on the group’s mission to evaluate performance of the “other than” small business contractors, in particular, with respect to their small business programs and their commitment to ensure maximum practicable use of small business in their subcontracting efforts. Dr. Hatcher has 28 years of acquisition experience in both pre-award and post-award functions within the Department of Defense.
Ms. Jaime Como - Team Lead for the DCMA Small Business Compliance Group
As Team Lead, DCMA Small Business Compliance Group, Ms. Como serves as the subject matter expert to ensure Small Business Subcontracting Program Compliance and Subcontracting Plan Reviews are conducted to ensure that maximum opportunities are provided to small businesses and compliance to applicable regulations. She is responsible for monitoring changes in regulations and updating policies and procedures as required and provides training to government and industry personnel. Ms. Como has 19 years of government contracting experience in Warranted Contracting Officer positions (U.S. and Intl.). She holds a Master of Science in Project Management from George Washington University and a BA in Economics with minors in Spanish & International Business from Washington State University.
