Description:
As complementary guidance to the Nov 21 publication of DoDI 5000.91, "Product Support Management for the Adaptive Acquisition Framework" and the May 22 Product Support Manager (PSM) Guidebook, OSD published a new Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) Outline, Version 3.0. In this webcast hosted by Ms. Lisa P. Smith, Mr. Anthony Lee will recap some of the highlights of the new outline, and Mr. Scott Harris and Mr. Tony Donatelli from Program Executive Office Aviation will share their perspective on how to use data and modeling and simulation to develop a program's Product Support Strategy. Finally, Mr. Lee, Mr. Harris, and Mr. Donatelli will answer questions from the audience.

Ms. Smith, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Product Support and serves as the principal advisor to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) leadership on policies, procedures, and actions related to the readiness and sustainability of major weapon systems. She is responsible for the development and implementation of acquisition and sustainment strategies and processes providing the Warfighter with cost-effective weapon system readiness across the life cycle. In addition, Ms. Smith coordinates and synchronizes ASD(S) international and partner engagements. She also manages the logistics and acquisition workforce for the Department of Defense. She assumed her current position in April 2021.

Mr. Anthony D. Lee II, Director of Product Support Policy and Army systems, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Product Support)
Mr. Lee is the Director of Policy and serves as advisor to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Product Support). He is responsible for the development and implementation of policy, processes, and guidance that foster efficient and effective product support planning and execution across the Department of Defense (DoD) enterprise. He assumed his current position in July 2021.
Mr. Scott Harris, Product Support Manager, Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA)Mr. Scott Harris currently serves as the Product Support Manager (PSM) for the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) Project Office, Program Executive Office Aviation, Redstone Arsenal, AL. In this capacity, he leads total life-cycle integrated product support management and acquisition support planning for this U.S. Army Future Vertical Lift Program. Mr. Harris has been assigned as a PSM for major programs covering all phases of the life cycle, and accumulated over 35 years of military, contractor, and civil service support to United States Army aviation.
Mr. Tony Donatelli, LogLab Team Lead, DEVCOM AvMCMr. Donatelli is the Team Lead for the Logistics Engineering Laboratory (LogLab), a government supportability thinktank as part of DEVCOM AvMC's Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Division. He is responsible for all technical direction and scientific vision for the LogLab, and is continually pushing forward the fields of modeling, simulation, sustainment, and supportability. Mr. Donatelli has been doing modeling and simulation in support of the US Army for 20 years -- everything from teaching Soldiers to operate weapon systems to football players learning their formations and assignments, and now simulating flight operations to prepare future product support.
Presenter/Moderator: Ms. Micaela Hamilton. Ms. Hamilton is currently an OSD Fellow in the Office of DASD(Product Support) managing both Policy and International Programs. Prior to joining ODASD(Product Support), Ms. Hamilton served as the USAF Lead Product Support Integrator for the C-130 Program Office at Robins AFB, GA.
